[jira] Created: (CAMEL-1310) DelegateProcessor should support async message handling

JIRA jira@apache.org
DelegateProcessor should support async message handling
-------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: CAMEL-1310
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/CAMEL-1310
             Project: Apache Camel
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: camel-core
    Affects Versions: 1.5.0
            Reporter: Gert Vanthienen
            Assignee: Gert Vanthienen
             Fix For: 1.5.1, 2.0.0

We should improve the default DelegateProcessor to support async Message handling as well.  Right now, adding a Tracer, Delayer, StreamCaching, ... to a Route breaks the ability to use asynchronous processing.

Claus Ibsen updated CAMEL-1310:
-------------------------------

    Affects Version/s: 1.6.0
        Fix Version/s:     (was: 1.6.1)
                           (was: 2.0.0)

I have looked into this and have a better plan for this, that will cleanup the camel internals so this ticket is not needed.
