Add my email to jenkins notification

oalsafi
Hello Camelers,

Somehow, I am not getting email notification for jenkin build of Camel (
https://builds.apache.org/job/Camel/). Can someone with admin access check
my email if it is added to the list of emails for notifications?

Thank you,
Omar

Hello Omar!

I'm not sure, but looks like Jenkins build job extract e-mail from the
commit message. This means you are not set it there.

Re: Add my email to jenkins notification

Omar Al-Safi
Hi Dmitry,

Thanks a lot for your reply! When I was looking at the build output, I see
the following message:

Not sending mail to unregistered user [hidden email] because your
SCM claimed this was associated with a user ID ‘omarsmak' which your
security realm does not recognize; you may need changes in your SCM
plugin

As I understood, jenkins tries to send email to `omarsmak` github user
whereby my username in jenkins is different `oalsafi`. Any ideas how to go
around this?

Thanks,
Omar

Hi Omar,
try going here: https://builds.apache.org/user/omarsmak/

clicking on Configure and entering the same e-mail address you use for
git commits

Re: Add my email to jenkins notification

Omar Al-Safi
Hi Zoran,

Thanks for the hints. I changed the email in my account `oalsafi` to `
[hidden email]`. Let's see if it solves the problem.

Thank you again,
Omar
