[jira] Created: (CAMEL-276) Camel Stream component

JIRA jira@apache.org
Camel Stream component
----------------------

                 Key: CAMEL-276
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/CAMEL-276
             Project: Apache Camel
          Issue Type: New Feature
    Affects Versions: 1.3.0
            Reporter: Przemyslaw Budzik
         Attachments: camel-stream.patch

New component proposal for dealing with streams (System.in,System.err,System.out). It might be very usable for testing/prototyping purposes eg.  to be able to get some input from System.in and pass it through the workflow  or maybe to "wiretap" some exchange to System.out in order to have some debug output on the console. Simple thing, but hopefully could enrich Camel components stack somehow ;-)

BTW,
Please use svn diff to generate the patch , there is a bug which will generate the different file twice in the svn tortoises if you create a patch for new added directory.

How the stream header really works should be better documented, maybe with a java snippet example
